Nicholas Hoult admits he keeps co-star's prosthetic penis in a frame at his house

Nicholas Hoult was gifted something very unusual after filming his horror flick

Nicholas Hoult has opened up about keeping one of his co-star’s belongings- his prosthetic penis.

Surely, everyone takes a souvenir from the set, but a penis? That’s a bit much.

Some might nap a costume or two, jewellery, maybe some décor… and so on. However, Hoult apparently wanted to be reminded of his co-star, and so he kept hold of the prosthetic member.

The actor, who is probably best known for playing Tony in Skins, revealed to ELLE magazine that he was bestowed the penis as a gift from his new movie’s director.

The 35-year-old stars in the horror flick Nosferatu, alongside Bill Skarsgård and Lily-Rose Depp.

He shared that he was given Skarsgard’s penis (not his real one, mind you) by Robery Eggers, and now it’s ‘framed’ at his home.

Apparently, he was gifted it after a scene led him to feel Skarsgård’s Count Orlok’s prosthetic penis against his leg. Can anyone timestamp that scene? I’m asking for a friend.

During the video interview with Depp, Hoult explained: “I have Count Orlok’s prosthetic penis framed at home.”

He continued: “There’s a scene where Bill Skasrgard is slurping my blood, and Robert Eggers asked afterward, ‘How was that for you? ‘ And I said, ‘I could feel his prosthetic penis on my leg’. And then, as a wrap gift, Rob got it framed, and he sent it to my house.”

But that wasn’t the entire ordeal he had to go through with the penis.

Hoult went on to tell a story about how the frame broke when it arrived, and he had to go to a shop to get it fixed.

He said that the shop employee ‘didn’t even blink the first time’. Maybe it wasn’t his first run in with a fake willy? Anyway, he then went on to say that when he returned to pick it up, the assistant had a question for him.

Hoult explained the person asked, ‘Is this some kind of collector’s piece?’ to which he replied: “Hm, you could say that.”

The film, which was released this year, tells the tale of Ellen (Depp) who prays for a lover to come into her life. However, she is struck by a vision which gives her a seizure.

Years later, Ellen lives with her husband, Thomas Hutter (Hoult) when the hubby accepts a job to visit the eccentric Count Orlok (Skarsgård). However, Orlok is a vampire, and it all gets a little twisted from there.

Hoult also shared how the director got him to lose weight to become a haunted character.

He said to The Hollywood Reporter: “Rob asked me to lose some weight for the movie. So I was about 20 pounds lighter than I am normally, and that weight loss was combined with the makeup team’s brilliant job.”

“Thomas goes through a lot in this movie, and so they added that harrowing look with hollowed-out cheekbones. That was some great makeup in terms of making Thomas look like he’d been to hell and back.”

Henry Cavill admits he doesn’t ‘understand’ sex scenes in movies

Cavill spoke out about filming intimate scenes

Henry Cavill has spoken out about filming sex scenes in movies, explaining that he doesn’t ‘understand’ them.

Cavill recently starred in new movie Argyllewhich was released last week on February 2.

The Matthew Vaughn movie focuses on author Elly Conway (played by Bryce Dallas Howard) whose idea of a good time is a night in with her cat, Alfie.

But when the plot of Elly’s fictional books begin to mirror the actions of a real-life spy organisation, her life takes a huge turn in direction.

In the movie, Cavill plays Elly’s protagonist Argylle – a fictional spy who is drawn into a treasure hunt that takes him around the world.

Sitting down with Vaughn to discuss the film, Cavill spoke on the Happy Sad Confused podcast about the movie, and acting in general.

At some point, the topic of conversation diverted to sex scenes, and Cavill admitted how he truly feels about them.

“I don’t understand them. I’m not a fan. I think there are circumstances where a sex scene actually is beneficial to a movie rather than just the audience,” he said.

“I think sometimes they’re overused these days. It’s when you have a sense that you’re going ‘Is this really necessary? Or is it just people with less clothing on?’ and that’s where you start to get more uncomfortable and you’re thinking.

“There’s not a performance here, there’s not a piece which is gonna carry through into the rest of the movie.”

Cavill explained that while the scenes are sometimes necessary, in his opinion, the human imagination is far better.

“Most of the time, the human imagination is gonna trump it, and so I think it can be a little bit of a copout if a TV show or a movie is just filled with gyrating bodies, and you’re going ‘OK? But what is this doing for us?’” he added.

“Apart from the idea of like, ‘Ooo, naked person, great.'”

In 2015, Cavill recalled a rather awkward encounter with a female actor when he was 23, which saw him get an erection during filming.

“It’s only happened to me once,” he told Men’s Fitness in 2015.

“A girl had to be on top of me, she had spectacular breasts and I hadn’t rearranged my stuff into a harmless position. She’s basically rubbing herself all over me and, um, it got a bit hard.”

He explained how he apologised profusely, adding: “It’s not great when you’re in a professional acting environment and somebody gets a b***r is it? No, not acceptable.”
